Ever-Present

God is our refuge and strength,
a helper who is always found
in times of trouble.
Therefore we will not be afraid,
though the earth trembles
and the mountains topple
into the depths of the seas,
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with its turmoil.

Psalm 46:1-3

What a powerful truth. Wind in our sails. Breath in our lungs. Blood flowing through our veins. It's life. To know that no matter what trials, struggles, challenges or hardships come our way, help is on the way. We are not helpless. Left to our own vices. Our father is our shelter, hiding place and refuge. He keeps us safe and secure. When we feel weak, he is our strength. He is always available.

In every season of life, we do not have to be afraid. If everything around us and within us is shaken, we can hold fast. Our hope is found in his love. Our peace is in his promises. God has never failed us. And he won't start now. If he said it, we believe it. And friend, he said it.
